About The Position

NuProduce Solutions is seeking a Food Safety Quality Assurance Technician for its Bowling Green, OH location. This role is responsible for implementing and maintaining robust Food Safety & Quality systems and programs, conducting audits and checks. The FSQA Technician will report to the FSQA Manager and collaborate to ensure NuProduce Solutions meets internal standards, customer expectations, and government compliance requirements.

Requirements

• Knowledge of spreadsheet, word processing, email and internet software applications.
• One year quality assurance experience in the food/produce industry in one of the following fields: Produce, RTE, Red Meat, Seafood, Poultry, Pork, Lamb.
• You are required to provide your most recent employment experience for your application to be considered complete.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of Inventory Management Systems and reporting software applications preferred.
• Food HACCP, PCQI, Food Defense knowledge is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Ensure continuous improvement and adequacy of quality and food safety systems to support end-to-end compliance meeting regulatory, business, and customer expectations (e.g., product complaint, recall, quality management system).
• Understand processes and programs for Food Safety to ensure regulatory compliance, including those utilized by NuProduce Solutions (e.g., Food Safety plans, Preventive Control plans, Produce HACCP plans).
• Chemical preparation & titration verifications.
• Understand and perform HACCP, GMP, SOP, SSOP, EM duties as necessary to meet government and company regulations.
• Supports programs and processes to ensure compliance with governmental regulations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
