Requirements
- Must be able to read and write in English to use equipment
- Stay focused on quality while maintaining speed
- Ability to work in temperature extremes from 38°F to -17°F
- Ability to stand 8+ hours per day
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Follow USDA/SQF and GMP guidelines
Nice To Haves
- Ability to work in a cold and wet environment
- Knowledge of SSOP’s
- Knowledge of HACCP
Responsibilities
- Verify X-ray machines are working correctly
- Weigh and verify weights of packages
- Take and record temperatures of products
- Verify correct labels are on the product
- Weigh out spices
- Ensure Good Manufacturing Practices are being followed by all employees
- Perform simple math
- Enter data using computer knowledge
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Follow the color code system in regard to food safety
- Other duties as directed by Supervisor
