A Ziegenfelder Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for maintaining food safety and quality systems, programs, and documentation. This role involves assisting with various QA department tasks, actively participating in facility discussions regarding food safety and quality, and developing qualified personnel within the QA department through leadership, assessment, training, and motivation. The manager will serve as the SQF Practitioner and PCQI, manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment, and ensure that all personnel uphold their responsibilities within the food safety and quality management system. Key responsibilities include managing microbiological and chemistry testing, overseeing the food safety plan and supporting programs, coordinating documentation for compliance, managing internal lab functions, and providing leadership and training in Quality Assurance and Food Safety. The role also involves partnering with operations to implement change and quality improvement, verifying finished product quality standards, and overseeing the SQF System. The position requires hands-on work with the QA team to meet deliverable timelines.
