The Fine Dining Food Runner at Basalt plays a vital role in delivering a world-class experience with elegance, precision, and hospitality. Job Summary The Fine Dining Food Runner – Full-Time is responsible for delivering food from the kitchen to guests in a timely and accurate manner while supporting the service team in maintaining a smooth and efficient dining experience. This role requires attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while upholding Black Desert Resort’s ultra-premium service standards.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in food running, serving, or hospitality preferred.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and presentation standards.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and carry multiple plates.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver food from the kitchen to guests quickly and accurately according to ticket specifications.
  • Ensure proper presentation and garnishing of dishes prior to delivery.
  • Communicate clearly with kitchen staff and servers to ensure correct order execution.
  • Describe dishes to guests when delivering food, including key ingredients and preparation details.
  • Assist servers with table maintenance including clearing plates and resetting tables as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations and expo areas.
  • Support proper timing of courses and coordination between kitchen and front-of-house teams.
  • Assist in running food for multiple tables during peak service periods.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Maintain a professional and polished presence when interacting with guests.
  • Support opening and closing duties including setup and breakdown of service areas.
  • Uphold Black Desert Resort’s ultra-premium hospitality standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
