About The Position

This is a part-time position for a Food Runner in a fine dining establishment. The role involves delivering food orders to guests, ensuring accuracy and quality, and maintaining restaurant service standards. The Food Runner will also assist in expediting the kitchen line when needed and communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure correct order fulfillment. Excellent guest service and a smooth, efficient operation are key priorities.

Requirements

Must be 18 years or older
Strong interpersonal and communication skills required
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail required
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to multitask

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or G.E.D preferred
Some experience in hospitality or customer service preferred

Responsibilities

Delivers food orders to guests dining in a full-service restaurant.
Presents proper food items by seat position according to the ticket.
Carries an oval tray in a traditional style restaurant containing hot and cold food items.
Expedites kitchen line in the absence of the Expo.
Provides excellent service to guests.
Maintains restaurant service standards.
Ensures a smooth and efficient operation.
Communicates with each part of the kitchen to ensure the tickets are being filled correctly.
Ensures the quality and accuracy of every order is fulfilled.
Performs other tasks as assigned.
