About The Position

The Food Runner is responsible for ensuring a positive dining experience for guests by delivering food promptly and efficiently. This role involves maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the dining area and kitchen, supporting the serving staff, and interacting with guests and colleagues in a friendly and professional manner. The goal is to exceed guest expectations and contribute to the overall smooth operation of the restaurant.

Requirements

Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work well with others and independently.
Ability to organize and multi-task.
Knowledge of proper etiquette for table clearing is a plus.
Must be able to report to work in a neat and clean uniform.
Must maintain well-groomed hair and personal hygiene.

Responsibilities

Clean and clear tables in the dining area.
Serve glasses of water to newly seated guests and refill water.
Deliver food orders to guests.
Transport dishes and tableware to the kitchen for cleaning.
Scrape dishes, separate silverware, and stack dishes in the dishwasher area.
Clean and polish surfaces such as counters, shelves, walls, furniture, and equipment in food service and other restaurant areas.
Clean up spills, remove broken dishes, and dispose of empty bottles and trash.
Perform specific side tasks to ensure the cleanliness and smooth operation of the restaurant.
Interact with guests and staff in a friendly and fast-paced manner.
Ensure guest satisfaction by treating them appropriately.
Strive to exceed guest expectations.
Report to work in a neat and clean uniform with well-groomed hair and personal hygiene.
Collaborate with all personnel to maintain an effective atmosphere and efficient food and beverage service.
Perform other duties as directed.
