This specific position is for a Full Time Food Runner at the Four Seasons Resort O’ahu at Ko Olina, a luxury Oahu resort located on the island's sunny Western Coast. The resort offers vast ocean views, lively pools and lagoons, a white-sand beach, Ko Olina Golf Club, and Naupaka Spa & Wellness Centre. The Food Runner will work in the Mānalo Lounge, which celebrates Hawaii’s diverse mix of cultures and cuisine, inspired by Oahu’s natural resources where fresh water merges with the ocean. Mānalo Lounge serves as a welcoming intersection for gathering with family and friends for dinner in a contemporary, yet casual setting at the water’s edge. The resort features 370 accommodations, various restaurants and bars, water sports, tennis, golf, and a spa. The ideal candidate will have a passion for excellence and the spirit of aloha.

Requirements

Candidate must be fluent in English, both verbal and written.
Candidates should have at least 1 year previous experience in a similar position in a luxury environment.
Must be experienced in the areas of communication and computer skills.
Service Passion
Requires attention to detail and problem solving skills

Responsibilities

Deliver food from kitchen to the guest ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Assist in clearing, cleaning and set-up of tables, chairs, linens, china, glass and silver for service in an unobtrusive manner; greet guests according to Four Seasons Standards to ensure superior service.
Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
Assist in stocking linens, china, glass, silver, and food items for service; assist in preparation of smaller items such as toast, soup, or beverages.
Assist in the breakdown, cleaning and set-up of buffets and food stations.
