About The Position

A Food Runner assists servers and bartenders in creating a unique experience for our guests. Runners are fun and professional individuals who thrive in an upbeat, fast-paced work environment and exhibit a passion for exceptional food and great guest service. The hospitality industry operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and 365 days of the year. All candidates must be available and are expected to work Texas A&M football game days, Ring Days, graduations, and other high occupancy times due to special events. While we strive to manage and minimize overtime, it should and will be expected when business levels call for it. This is a part-time position, with 8-29 hours per week depending on the level of business forecasted. Days of the week/weekend scheduled will vary depending on the forecasted business demand. Shift options are typically 6:30 AM - 2 PM, but may vary based on forecasted business demand.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Pleasant personality.
Excellent communication skills.

Nice To Haves

One year restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

Assist servers and bartenders in fulfilling any guest needs.
Assist in marking and pre-bussing tables.
Liaison between the kitchen and the public areas for the outlets during service.
Coordinate food orders to support timely and efficient delivery to each table.
Sanitize and clear tables promptly in an unobtrusive manner.
Possess and utilize knowledge of all offered restaurant menus.
Support in providing water and bread throughout the meal to the guest.
Provide quick and attentive assistance to any mishap in the outlets.
Be familiar with all property amenities and other restaurants.
Maintain cleanliness of all workplace areas and a professional image and uniform.
Re-stock for the next day.
