About The Position

As a Food Runner:

You work quickly and are helpful. You deliver food items to guests’ tables in a timely manner with efficiency. You are organized and always prioritize customer service.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age
• Must have a TABC and Food Handlers certification before employment begins
• Must display exceptional customer service and communication skills
• POS (cash register) and credit or debit card processing skills
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Punctual and reliable attendance is required
• Must be well-groomed and professionally dressed following uniform standards
• Must have attention for detail, and a passion for serving Guests
• Positive and professional attitude in every aspect of the position
• Physical requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods of time; capability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs.; ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions during shifts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high knowledge regarding company's products, availability, specials, services offered, current & upcoming events, etc.; effectively communicates such to guests
• Serve as a food quality inspector to ensure final product preparations align with company standards before delivering items to guests
• Deliver food items in a timely manner to ensure optimum food temperature when it reaches the guests
• Greet guests when approaching table and matches food items with the correct guests
• Communicate any relevant messages to servers and/or bartenders regarding guests' requests/needs
• Set up and break down workstation in accordance to department procedures and standards
• Maintain adequate par levels of condiments, garnishes and other related items.
• Complete all opening, running and closing duties assigned
