About The Position

The Food Runner supports the front-of-house team by promptly delivering food from the kitchen to guests, ensuring orders are accurate, fresh, and presented properly. This role is essential in providing excellent guest service, maintaining efficient operations, and supporting servers and kitchen staff in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to remain on feet for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs

Nice To Haves

Previous restaurant or hospitality experience a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

Deliver food orders from the kitchen to tables quickly and accurately
Verify order details, including special requests and dietary restrictions
Ensure food presentation meets restaurant standards before delivery
Assist servers by clearing dishes, resetting tables, and refilling water as needed
Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff
Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations and expo areas
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
Provide courteous, professional interaction with guests at all times
