About The Position
Amavida is recruiting for a hospitality focused Food Runner to join our culinary team! This role is responsible for assisting in all areas of meal service and clean up. The food runner/server assistant will deliver food to the correct table and to the correct guest in a professional manner following established procedures. They must be knowledgeable in all menus and ingredients.
Requirements
- Minimum completion of sophomore year in high school required
- Experience in food service work preferred
- Experience in working with seniors preferred
Responsibilities
- Serve meals to residents promptly and in a friendly and courteous manner using proper serving etiquette.
- Deliver meals to residents’ rooms as needed.
- Clear tables and collect dishes and kitchen utensils during mealtime.
- Always exemplify Community standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization.
- Responsible for adhering to food quality, appearance, and presentation standards.
- Set tables and maintain workstations in proper order.
- Answer pertinent questions about menu items.
