About The Position
Join our dynamic team at The Crown Rooftop Bar, located at the iconic Warrior Hotel. We are looking for a Food Preparer / Runner who thrives in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment. This role is key to supporting our rooftop bar’s casual yet elevated food service—assembling dishes, running food, and operating the Merrychef oven with precision and care.
Requirements
- Previous food handling or prep experience preferred, but we’re willing to train the right person
- Ability to work in a fast-paced setting with a great attitude
- Strong attention to detail and time management
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Must be dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Responsibilities
- Assemble and plate menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Operate the Merrychef oven safely and efficiently
- Ensure food is prepared to the highest standards of quality, safety, and cleanliness
- Deliver food orders promptly and accurately to guests on the rooftop
- Support bartenders and service staff with food-related needs
- Maintain cleanliness of the prep station and service area
- Follow all health and safety regulations and hotel procedures
