About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Barback and Food Runner to join our team. This dual-role position is essential to maintaining smooth operations in both the bar and food service areas. The ideal candidate will have strong multitasking abilities, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional service.

Requirements

Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure with poise.
Flexibility to work mornings, afternoons, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Capability to lift and carry heavy items up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Prepare and stock necessary items for food orders, including plates, utensils, condiments, and napkins.
Ensure that all food and drink stations are fully stocked throughout service hours.
Maintain inventory levels by restocking as needed and reporting any shortages.
Transport food orders from the kitchen to the designated bar area promptly and efficiently.
Ensure that food is delivered in a timely manner and that all orders are complete and correct.
Assist bartenders with stocking liquor, beer, and other supplies.
Support servers by delivering food orders to guests, clearing tables, and resetting as needed.
Aid in the opening and closing duties of the bar.
Remove dirty dishes and utensils from bar area and transport them to the kitchen for cleaning.
Empty garbage and recycling bins and ensure the bar and dining areas are clean and tidy.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas.
Work closely with kitchen staff, bartenders, and servers to ensure seamless service and a positive guest experience.
Communicate effectively with team members to address any issues or special requests promptly.
