About The Position

The Food Beverage Barback is responsible for maintaining the readiness and cleanliness of beverage stations, including pop stations, coffee machines, and condiment areas. This role involves regular restocking, ensuring equipment functionality, and assisting with event setups. The Barback also plays a key part in waste management and maintaining inventory levels, contributing to the overall smooth operation of the food and beverage service.

Requirements

• Ability to monitor CO2 usage.
• Ability to contact proper personnel if major repairs are required.
• Ability to restock after monthly inventory.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with setting up and running champagne fountains.
• Experience with cleaning glass washers, beer taps, syrup hoses, drink lines, drink machines, and coffee machines.
• Experience assisting with outdoor events.

Responsibilities

• Check and restock all pop stations approximately every 2 hours.
• Replace empty syrup boxes as needed at all pop stations.
• Ensure all pop machines are working correctly.
• Check all coffee machines on the main floor and restock coffee as needed.
• Fill all condiments as needed on the counter and restock all cabinets.
• Fill and restock all stations with cups.
• Repeat beverage station restocking process in the convention area.
• Break down cardboard boxes and take them to the garbage.
• Restock main bar beer coolers.
• Dispose of all empty cans and bottles in the proper waste containers.
• Set up and assist with all outdoor events.
• Set up and run the champagne fountain and clean it when the event is complete.
• Clean glass washers weekly and beer taps bi-weekly.
• Clean syrup hoses, drink lines, drink machines, and coffee machines weekly.
• Monitor CO2 usage.
• Contact proper personnel if major repairs are required.
• Restock after monthly inventory.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
