About The Position
Fearrington House Restaurant is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Food Runner / Backwait to support the front-of-house team during evening service. The role helps maintain the flow of service and ensure guests receive a precise, thoughtful dining experience in a fine-dining setting. It offers an opportunity to grow in hospitality and gain experience in fine dining.
Requirements
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

- Availability Thursday through Sunday evenings.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Nice To Haves
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Deliver food from the kitchen to guests promptly and accurately.
- Assist servers with table maintenance, including clearing, resetting, and water service.
- Support communication between kitchen and front-of-house teams.
- Keep dining areas clean, organized, and ready for service.
- Polish, stock, and prepare service stations.
- Anticipate team and guest needs to support an elevated dining experience.
