About The Position

The Mars Food Quality Food and Safety Internship Experience is a 10-week summer program designed to provide interns with in-depth exposure to real business problems and opportunities within the food quality, food, and safety domains. Interns will gain experience working with cross-functional teams, utilizing Microsoft applications like Excel and Power BI, and developing strong data management and problem-solving abilities. The program focuses on improving efficiency through work and material flow planning, initiating line improvement and waste reduction initiatives, conducting projects to increase plant efficiency, and optimizing performance to drive value leadership.

Requirements

  • Major in Food Science, Biotechnology, Analytical Chemistry, or Microbiology.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Word and PowerPoint for effective communications.
  • Open to students legally authorized to work in the U.S., without the need for current or future work status authorization or visa sponsorship for employment.
  • Employment is contingent upon successful completion of drug & background screening.
