About The Position

Sodexo is seeking a Food Production Manager 3 for Larned State Hospital in Larned, KS. The Food Production Manager will oversee inventory, purchasing, and general kitchen management for the medical campus. This strategic leader will come with a background in kitchen management and have a proven ability to lead and develop teams. The salary range is negotiable and dependent on experience with a full benefits package that kicks in immediately. Schedule is mostly Monday-Friday. Incentives May be eligible for sign-on bonus!!

Requirements

• kitchen and staff management experience
• inventory management and purchasing experience
• strong leadership skills and proven background growing teams
• proficient computer skills, highly organized, and detail-focused
• Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
• 2 years minimum management experience
• 1 year minimum functional experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.

Responsibilities

• motivate, coach, mentor and develop frontline staff
• kitchen management
• provide stellar customer service
• oversee ordering, procurement, and inventories
• ensure company food and physical safety programs and standards are followed
• manage vendor relationships and compliance
