Friends of the Earth is seeking an intern for its Climate-Friendly Food campaign, part of the Food & Agriculture Program. This campaign focuses on reducing consumption of industrial animal foods, increasing support for regenerative, grass-fed, and organic meat and dairy, and promoting a shift towards plant-forward diets and regenerative agriculture. The intern will support federal policy work through grassroots and stakeholder outreach, assist with meeting and event logistics, conduct research for public policy campaigns, and draft public outreach materials. This internship offers valuable experience in research, strategic campaign development, communications, corporate and non-profit engagement, and public outreach within environmental advocacy. The role provides exposure to environmental, social justice, and legislative arenas, offering insight into how government, corporate, and non-profit sectors operate.
