About The Position
A day in the life At 2:00pm your shift begins in a high-speed food manufacturing plant in Pedricktown, NJ. You walk the production floor, listen for unusual vibrations, and check line readiness. A packaging conveyor needs a quick pneumatic adjustment before the next run; later, an unplanned stoppage calls for fast electrical diagnostics on a 480V circuit. You close the night documenting parts used, updating maintenance logs, and leaving the shop organized for the next crew at 10:30pm.
Requirements
- 2-3+ years as a Maintenance Technician or Industrial Mechanic
- Strong mechanical aptitude paired with solid electrical troubleshooting ability
- Ability to read electrical prints and work safely across multiple voltages
- Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics
- Understanding of GMP and food safety practices
- Clear communicator and collaborative teammate with strong problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented and comfortable in a fast-paced setting
- All applicants must live in the USA and be eligible to work and live in the USA.

Responsibilities
- Preventative and corrective maintenance across processing and packaging machinery
- Hands-on troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Root-cause diagnosis, component replacement, and functional testing to restore performance
- Accurate recordkeeping of repairs, parts consumption, and equipment modifications
- Support for changeovers, setups, and line tuning to meet production targets
- Rapid response to breakdowns to minimize downtime
- Confident use of manuals, schematics, prints, and work orders
- Care and organization of tools, spares, and the maintenance shop
- Basic facility upkeep: light plumbing, electrical, and carpentry as needed
- Safe use of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic instruments
- Strict adherence to GMP, food safety, and site safety procedures
- Maintaining a clean, orderly, and safe work area
