About The Position
Ascend Staffing is hiring Food Packers and Production Workers in San Antonio, Texas. The role involves preparing and processing food products, operating food-processing equipment, inspecting materials and products, and packaging finished goods for shipment. Work is performed in a cold environment of 50–55°F. The schedule is either first shift, 5:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., or second shift, 4:00 p.m.–2:30 a.m. Employees receive three days off, assigned on the first day. The anticipated start date is October 21, and compensation is $15.00 per hour. Candidates must be comfortable handling raw food products and follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), including restrictions on jewelry, makeup, false nails or lashes, and nail polish. Applicants must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Requirements
- Ability to work in San Antonio, Texas.
- Comfortable working with raw food products, including beef, chicken, eggs, and spices.
- Able to stand for extended periods in a cold environment of 50–55°F.
- Follow GMP standards, including no jewelry, makeup, false nails or lashes, or nail polish.
