About The Position
AVI Foodsystems is seeking an energetic and optimistic Food Packer. The company provides food services focused on quality, fresh ingredients, service, and value. In this role, the team member assembles and fills orders for shipment, receives and stocks products, verifies product quantities and descriptions, and maintains accurate physical inventories. The position involves regularly moving, walking, bending, reaching, and grasping while loading trays with food products, including moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds. The Food Packer must communicate cleanliness, safety, or security concerns to management and comply with company policies and all safety and security procedures. Pre-employment drug testing is conducted.
Requirements

- Ability to work independently and use time efficiently.

Responsibilities
- Assemble and fill orders to be shipped.
- Receive products coming into the warehouse.
- Verify the quantity and description of products.
- Maintain accurate physical inventories.
- Communicate concerns to management, including cleanliness, safety, or security concerns.
- Lift, carry, or otherwise move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Move, walk, bend, reach, and grasp regularly while loading trays with food products.
- Stock inventory.
- Comply with AVI policies and procedures, including security procedures.
- Follow all safety and security procedures without deviation.
- Follow directives as assigned by management.
