About The Position

National Star Services, a nationwide facility management company with over 28 years of experience, is hiring Food Packers in Des Plaines, Illinois. In this role, you will prepare and package food products while meeting quality and safety standards. The position is scheduled Monday through Sunday, with two days off each week; the supervisor provides the weekly schedule. Available shifts are 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Pay is $17.50 per hour, paid biweekly.

Requirements

• Provide two valid forms of identification.
• Speak English and Spanish.
• Have and wear slip-resistant shoes.
• Have reliable transportation to and from work.
• Be able to start working as soon as possible.
• Be able to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Follow recipes and production instructions accurately.
• Assemble and package food items according to production orders.
• Work efficiently to meet daily production goals.
• Read and follow menu specifications.
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety and quality standards.
• Support team members to ensure smooth production operations.
