About The Position

Sodexo is seeking a Food Operations Manager 3 - Catering for the Kansas State University located in Manhattan, KS. This manager will directly oversee all premium sports catering operations at all KState venues. Kansas State is a member of the Big XII family of schools and is located in Manhattan, Kansas. Sodexo has the pleasure of providing the food service operations for the K-State Athletic Department. K-State Athletics is one of the top tiered athletics programs in the United States and it is growing rapidly. This is a highly visible position at a flagship account within Sodexo Universities. Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
3 years minimum management experience
3 years of experience in catering, food production, or food service management or a related field
Solid organizational skills
Excellent leadership/team building skills
The ability to handle catering at all levels from students to executives
Professional demeanor is required

Responsibilities

Identify customer needs and expectations
Ensure that Sodexo and customer goals are aligned and met
Educate and develop rapport with clients and promote partnerships
Promote a customer/client centered culture that strives to exceed customer and client needs
Coordinate all unit catering initiatives to drive sales growth and track results
Maintain and improve service level resulting in increased customer satisfaction
Ensure all HAACP standards are followed
Demonstrate resourcefulness and quick responsiveness to client and customer requests
