About The Position

The primary purpose of this position is to provide assistance in all dietary functions as directed and in accordance with established dietary policies and procedures. This role involves demonstrating commitment to the company's mission, values, and standards of ethical behavior. The specialist will model a positive and professional image, promote teamwork, and ensure residents are treated with kindness, dignity, and respect. Responsibilities include adhering to dietary procedures, serving palatable meals, setting up for meal service, and ensuring timely and temperature-appropriate meal delivery.

Completion of Food Handling training and certification

Sets-up tray cards, food carts, dining room, etc., as instructed for meal service.
Assists in ensuring that meals are prepared and delivered on time and at proper temperature.
