About The Position

This role is responsible for meeting company customer service standards, following cash control policies, and adhering to all laws and regulations regarding the sale of government-regulated products and services. The Food Lead must also obey company and health department safety guidelines for food preparation, perform detail cleaning of the store interior and exterior, and stock and rotate products including coolers and freezers. Additionally, the role involves completing training activities, meeting minimum job performance standards, and following the company's general rules of conduct and code of ethics. The Food Lead will motivate sales associates to grow store sales and profitability through suggestive selling techniques and assist the store manager in hiring, developing, and training staff. Key responsibilities also include replenishing food items, maintaining the proper flow of food, tracking food inventory, and assisting with food service product ordering. Other duties may be assigned.
