About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Food Expeditor to join our fast-paced team. You will run the expeditor station, acting as the conductor of the kitchen to ensure all dishes meet our standards before they reach the table. Requirements

  • Previous experience (1+ years) in a fast-paced restaurant environment (as an expeditor, server, or line cook).
  • Strong multitasking abilities and the capacity to remain calm and collected under pressure.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and a team-player mentality.
  • Deep understanding of food safety, sanitation, and menu items.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect every plate to ensure proper portioning, garnishing, and presentation before it leaves the kitchen.
  • Call out tickets, organize incoming orders, and coordinate cook times so that all food for a single table is ready simultaneously.
  • Relay special requests, modifications, and dietary restrictions clearly between the front-of-house (servers) and back-of-house (line cooks).
  • Maintain a steady, efficient flow of dishes from the kitchen window to the dining room, preventing food from sitting or getting cold.
  • Keep the expo station clean, sanitary, and fully stocked with necessary garnishes, silverware, and condiments.
