THE ROLE: The Food Service Expeditor is responsible for supporting food and beverage operations within a high-volume event environment by coordinating and expediting orders between In-Seat, service teams, and supervisors. This role ensures order accuracy, efficient communication, and smooth operational flow while maintaining high standards of professionalism, organization, and customer service.

Requirements

  • All applicants must be at least 18 years of age
  • Ability to interact with co-workers to assure compliance with company service standards.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced, team orientated setting.
  • Must be able to work fluently in English
  • Ability to work in an open aired environment during all climate conditions.
  • Ability to work extended hours day, nights and weekends.
  • Ability to frequently navigate busy service areas.
  • Must meet state and local health requirements for food handlers and alcoholic beverage services.
  • Practice safe work habits, follow all safety policies and procedures and regulations, complete company-wide safety training and any additional job specific safety training.

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or equivalent. Some colleges preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and expedite food and beverage orders to ensure timely and accurate service
  • Verify order accuracy, presentation quality, and completeness before orders leave the service area
  • Maintain clear communication between In-seat personnel, service staff, and supervisors to support efficient operations
  • Organize and prioritize orders during high-volume service periods
  • Uphold all company policies related to food safety, sanitation, alcohol compliance, and guest service standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of expo stations, service areas, and assigned workspaces
  • Assist with event setup, restocking, inventory support, and post-event breakdown as required
  • Operate efficiently in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment while maintaining service standards.
  • Familiarize themselves with the Uber Eats platform
  • Notify Supervisor when inventory is running low or out of stock
  • The ability to provide refunds to guests that have any issues with their order
  • Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor
