Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Food Science or a related discipline (e.g., Chemistry, Culinary Science, Human Nutrition).
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the industrial food, pharmaceutical, ingredient, or flavor industry.
  • At least 5 years of experience within a relevant specialty or application field.
  • 2–3 years of experience working in cross-functional teams in roles such as project leader or contributor.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple, high-value projects independently with strong planning and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Strong understanding of sensory evaluation, consumer insights, and their application to successful product design.
  • Experience contributing to global or regional innovation programs and technology platforms.
  • Recognized technical expertise with the ability to mentor and develop junior colleagues.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize finished product formulations, considering industrial standards, country-specific regulations, and customer requirements.
  • Lead complex food application projects from concept through commercialization, acting as a project leader in cross-functional teams.
  • Apply deep knowledge of ingredients, raw materials, and processing technologies to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.
  • Drive regional and global customer projects with strong commercial impact, including margin improvement and new business wins.
  • Contribute to regional and global technical and innovation strategies aligned with category priorities.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Flavorists, Product Experience, and Regulatory Affairs to deliver integrated customer solutions.
  • Build and leverage internal and external technical networks to share knowledge, best practices, and new technologies.
  • Support innovation and technology initiatives, including concept generation, validation, and scale-up activities.
