About The Position

As a Food Clerk, you will be responsible for serving our members with products and services that help build, feed and fuel individuals and communities.

Requirements

• Sufficient knowledge of grocery merchandise handled to effectively operate the section(s) assigned.
• Familiarity with all lines of merchandise handled by the department.
• Strongly service-oriented and motivated.
• Capable of assisting customers in a courteous and efficient manner.
• Physical ability to handle the work to be assigned.
• Must be able to work mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Be responsible in the area of Loss prevention.
• Operate cash register as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
