About The Position

The Food Cashier position involves communicating with guests in a friendly and courteous manner, accepting and processing payments from restaurant guests using a computerized cash register, and maintaining an accurate bank.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a cashier preferred
- Excellent customer service skills
- Basic math skills
- Ability to stand and/or sit in a confined area for duration of shift
- Ability to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications
Responsibilities
- Communicate with guests in a friendly, courteous manner
- Operate computerized cash register to itemize and total guest food checks
- Accept and process payments from customers in the form of cash, room charges, and credit cards in accordance with established procedures
- Prepare and maintain tip pay-out slips
