About The Position

This role is responsible for overseeing food operations within the store, ensuring quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. The Food Captain will manage food inventory, preparation, and presentation, while also assisting customers and maintaining store standards.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or a related field.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including days, evenings, overnights, and weekends.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory.

Nice To Haves

• Experience as a supervisor or team lead.
• ServSafe certification or equivalent food handler's permit.

Responsibilities

• Oversee food preparation and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
• Manage food inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stocking.
• Prepare and present food items according to company guidelines.
• Assist customers with food orders and provide excellent customer service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of food service areas.
• Train and guide other team members on food service procedures.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
