Requirements

Must be 21 years of age or older
Able to lift 20lbs
Must have or be able to obtain a Class 12 MAST permit and Food Handlers permit
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Must be able to meet state age requirements to serve alcohol
Regular and reliable attendance

Nice To Haves

Prior cooking experience is not required
Experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

Drive the beverage cart to different areas on the golf course to service guests
Maintain a supply of all bar products/supplies, including all glassware, expendable paper, and other supplies
Stock beverage carts to par levels each day of use
Assure that all laws applicable to beverage operations are consistently followed
Operate point of sale system, guest member charges, and credit card charges according to procedure
Learn the names of regulars and personally recognize them
Monitor guest experience and take appropriate action to ensure the best customer service
Inspect the bar before opening to ensure adequate supplies and inventory are available
Prepare garnishes, mixes, and pre-mixed drinks
Perform clean-up and closing duties as assigned
Communicate effectively with peers, management, line and front-of-the-house employees
Ensure that all customers are greeted in a timely, friendly, and professional manner
Assist in food preparation and tend bar as needed
Demonstrate responsible cash-handling skills
Prepare, cook, and serve food menu options
Understand safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures
Maintain a clean kitchen environment, including cleaning of fryer and flattop
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager
