About The Position

This is a floor leader position that assists in the daily operations of the Restaurant, Bar Service, Pool, and In Room Dining to ensure optimum performance, exceptional guest service, and maximum profitability. You will train and motivate staff to provide amazing guest experiences.

Requirements

  • Alcohol service and Food Handler certifications are required.
  • Familiarity of restaurant terminology and food service techniques is preferred.
  • Flexibility with workdays and hours.
  • Previous experience and enthusiasm for being part of a diverse team of passionate people and providing authentic experiences and distinctively different services to others in a team-oriented food and beverage environment.
  • The ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and through excellent written communication.
  • A qualified applicant is a people person who is flexible with their schedule, loves to lead and serve others, and thrives on the challenge of creating distinctively different dining experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures welcoming physical atmosphere and cleanliness of the department, including inspecting tabletops, countertops, and side stations.
  • Communicate information to the service team giving them the knowledge to be individually empowered.
  • Handle guest concerns professionally, resolving issues with empathy and urgency.
  • Utilize the Freedom to Go Beyond to resolve guest issues promptly and with great care.
  • Enjoy multi-tasking at a fast pace while having an impeccable eye for detail to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Supervise the performance, attendance, attitude, appearance, and conduct of the service team.
  • Assist with the development, training, and inspiration of outlet staff.
  • Lead pre-shift meetings to communicate goals, menu changes, and service priorities.
  • Monitor team performance and provide on-the-spot feedback and support.
  • Assist with onboarding and cross-training of new staff.
  • Oversee opening and closing duties, ensuring checklist completion.
  • Assist with inventory control, ordering, and restocking.
  • Support scheduling and labor management in coordination with the manager.
  • Ensure accurate cash handling, POS procedures, and daily reconciliation.
