About The Position

ESS Defence delivers exceptional hospitality and support services across Defence sites throughout Australia. From dining facilities to accommodation and recreation services, our teams play an important role in supporting Australian Defence Force personnel through high-quality food and hospitality services. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our team at RAAF Base Richmond. This hands-on leadership role is ideal for a hospitality professional who enjoys leading teams, delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining high operational standards.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a Food & Beverage Supervisor, Team Leader or similar hospitality role
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Sound knowledge of food safety, hygiene and HACCP requirements
• Ability to organise workloads and manage competing priorities
• Professional presentation and positive attitude
• Ability to obtain and maintain a National Police Check and Defence clearance

Responsibilities

• Lead and support front-of-house team members during daily operations
• Supervise food and beverage service across dining facilities and functions
• Coordinate meal services, special events and hospitality requirements
• Ensure food safety, hygiene and HACCP standards are maintained
• Monitor service standards and customer satisfaction levels
• Assist with staff training, coaching and development
• Support rostering, daily operations and service delivery requirements
