Requirements

At least two (2) years of hotel food & beverage or restaurant supervisor experience recommended
Previous bartending experience
Flexible to work AM and PM shifts, mid-shifts, weekends and holidays
Ability to communicate in English, both verbal and written
Must be able to stand/walk for at least eight (8) hours and lift/carry heavy trays weighting at least 25-30 pounds
Current alcohol permit and Food Handler Certification Required

Responsibilities

Monitor food & beverage staff and ensure service delivery exceeds guest expectations.
Assist with managing food & beverage operations for the restaurant, banquets, and lounge bar.
Assist with all aspects of the bistro and banquets, including using the Micros POS, bar tending as needed, cooking as needed, set-up and break down of banquets and functions.
Conduct monthly beverage inventory.
Complete weekly schedules.
Place weekly orders for all aspects of the operation.
Be hands on and physically support food & beverage and banquet staff to ensure guests are taken care of and business needs are consistently met.
Train new hires.
Inspect side work to ensure opening and closing duties are consistently practiced.
Resolve guest related issues or complaints regarding service and food and beverages.
