About The Position

The Post Oak Hotel is seeking a Food & Beverage Supervisor to join the only Forbes Five-Star Hotel in Texas. We hire passionate and professional colleagues who genuinely delight our guests through curated and authentic experiences. The Food & Beverage Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations of outlet while ensuring adherence to proper standards and compliance with Forbes Five-Star service requirements.

Requirements

Aspire to our values of being passionate, strive for excellence, remain relevant, collaborate and act with honor and integrity
2 years of bar or restaurant supervisory experience
Should possess a strong knowledge of liquor, beer and wine
Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays is required

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Previous hotel experience, luxury or Forbes experience preferred

Responsibilities

Manages service delivery in outlets to ensure Five-Star level service, ensures guest satisfaction
Improves service by communicating and assisting individuals to understand guest needs, providing guidance, feedback, and individual coaching when needed
Resolves all guest problems and complaints
Display professional conduct, sound judgment, the highest level of professional integrity, and a strong work ethic
Understands hourly positions well enough to perform duties in employees' absence or during peak volume periods
Ensures compliance with all food & beverage policies, standards and procedures by training, supervising, follow-up and hands on management
Establishes and maintains open, collaborative relationships with colleagues
Ensures knowledge and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
Ensures compliance with food handling and sanitation standards
