About The Position

DoubleTree by Hilton Portland is seeking a Food & Beverage Supervisor for an exciting new leadership opportunity. The Food & Beverage Supervisor provides leadership coverage for restaurant and bar operations while supporting daily service excellence throughout the outlet. This position serves as the leadership presence on the floor during key operating periods, ensuring service standards are executed consistently while creating memorable guest experiences. The successful candidate will help drive revenue, develop team members, improve accountability, and contribute to the continued growth of our food and beverage operation. This role is also designed as a management development position with future advancement opportunities into Food & Beverage Management.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership coverage for restaurant and bar operations
  • Ensure service standards, cleanliness, stocking, and opening/closing procedures are consistently executed
  • Coach and develop front-of-house team members through daily feedback and training
  • Create memorable guest experiences through active floor presence and service leadership
  • Drive sales through guest engagement, suggestive selling, and beverage promotion
  • Support service recovery efforts and resolve guest concerns professionally
  • Monitor labor utilization, scheduling effectiveness, break compliance, and overtime management
  • Assist with staffing coverage and support operations during high-volume periods
  • Partner with leadership to improve operational efficiency and team performance
  • Help create an environment where team members feel supported, engaged, and successful
