About The Position

This role is responsible for supervising the activities of all cashiers, servers, bussers, bartenders, and bar backs during a shift, ensuring all functional job duties are performed according to established company policies. The supervisor is expected to ensure excellent guest service, notify team members of policy changes, and complete all required paperwork. They will also assist in monitoring guest flow, informing management about labor needs during peak and slow periods, and assisting trainers with new team member training. The position requires setting high standards by complying with departmental rules, policies, and procedures, and performing any other duties as specified or assigned by the Director or Executive Management.

Requirements

  • Possesses complete knowledge of all procedures related to the job.
  • Must possess outstanding interpersonal communications skills to effectively interface with guests and team members.
  • Must have successfully completed and maintain certification in “Serv-Safe”(Food Sanitation Management).
  • Must be able to use a computer to enter requisitions.
  • Must be able to understand and communicate Material Safety Data Sheets to all team members.

  • Prior experience is preferred as well as a proven track record demonstrating sound judgment and the ability to perform well under pressure.
  • Sets standards by being cooperative, helpful and friendly, and by presenting a neat, clean, well-groomed appearance.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures proper staffing for forecasted volume and budgetary guidelines.
  • Responsible for supervising the activities of all cashiers, servers, bussers, bartenders and bar backs during a shift, ensuring all functional job duties are performed according to established company policies.
  • Ensures excellent guest service.
  • Notifies team members of changes in policy and procedure.
  • Properly fills out all paperwork required for the job.
  • Assists in monitoring guest flow and informs management when more labor is needed during peak volume periods and slow periods.
  • Assists trainers in properly training new team members.
  • Assists team members in their duties as needed.
  • Sets high standards by complying with all departmental rules, policies, and procedures.
  • Performs any other duties as specified or assigned by the Director or any member of the Executive Management.
