About The Position

The Food & Beverage Runner supports service at Regalo by helping keep tables ready for guests and delivering food orders from the kitchen. The role involves monitoring guest needs, maintaining clean and stocked work areas, and working with servers, hosts, supervisors, and kitchen staff to support a smooth operation. Team members are expected to provide helpful, positive, upbeat, and professional service and maintain consistent attendance.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of menu selections.
• Ability to read, write legibly, understand, and speak English.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Availability to work the required schedule, which may include nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
• Must meet professional appearance standards prescribed by company policy.
• Ability to respond to visual and oral cues.
• Ability to work in constricting areas and tolerate noise and bright lights.
• Ability to work at a fast pace in an often crowded and noisy environment.
• Physical mobility, with reasonable accommodations, including ability to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 25 lbs., and to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel, and balance while performing duties in varying work areas, including confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Clear tables and reset them for new seating according to venue standards.
• Ensure tables are ready for guests’ arrival in accordance with venue standards.
• Pick up completed orders from the kitchen and deliver them to support servers.
• Monitor tables, anticipate and respond to guest requests, and keep dining areas clean and neat after meals.
• Restock and clean the assigned station at the end of each shift in accordance with Department of Health standards.
• Interact with guests and coworkers in a helpful, positive, upbeat, and professional manner.
• Attend pre-shift meetings.
• Maintain a regular and consistent attendance record.
• Work as part of a team with servers, venue hosts, supervisors, and kitchen staff to maintain a smooth and efficient operation.
• Declare tips through the time and attendance system at the end of each shift.
