The Toledo Complex, which includes the Huntington Center and the Glass City Center, is seeking a Food & Beverage Manager to support both locations. This role operates under the direction of the Director of Catering and is responsible for collaborating with other event staff to market, sell, contract, and detail events for the Toledo Complex. The position requires the application of sales and marketing principles to promote the facility, assist in developing sales plans, and prospect for new and repeat business. The manager will also support catering sales and service personnel, manage client accounts, and ensure adherence to sales policies. Key responsibilities include quoting rates, preparing and executing contracts, driving partnerships with operational departments and the DMO sales team, and maintaining an active resource list. A thorough understanding of company policies, menus, event offerings, and cost structures is essential for meeting profitability guidelines. The role involves detailing food and beverage components for contracted programs, producing Banquet Event Orders, managing client pre-event and post-event correspondence, and liaising with culinary and operations teams for event logistics. Additionally, the manager will coordinate menu tastings, greet on-site client representatives, and produce necessary sales reports.
