About The Position

The Food & Beverage Manager in Training program is an excellent opportunity for a recent Hospitality Management graduate seeking to build a career in the hotel industry. The trainee will work closely with the Food & Beverage Management team across dining outlets and room service, ensuring smooth and efficient operations while delivering an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Requirements

  • Recent graduate from an accredited Hotel Management program.
  • Excellent organizational and communications skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and demonstrate appropriate prioritization skills.
  • Strong leadership and motivational skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Customer-service oriented.
  • To be considered for the position, you must have work authorization in the United States or qualify to obtain a J-1 Visa.

Responsibilities

  • Gain first-hand experience doing a rotational training, providing personalized and gracious service in the The Pen Top Bar, Clement Restaurant & Bar, Gotham Lounge and In Room Dining.
  • Work closely with the Food & Beverage management teamt to perform pre and after-service procedures as per Peninsula standards.
  • Understand and accurately deliver the defined sequence of service.
  • Ensure consistency of the Food & Beverage service and food offerings.
