About The Position

Bogus Basin Mountain Recreation Area is seeking a Food & Beverage Janitor to help maintain clean and safe lodge facilities during the winter season. This role is crucial in ensuring every guest enjoys their time on the mountain by keeping dining areas tidy, bathrooms stocked, and walkways clear. The position offers a unique opportunity to work at a nonprofit mountain recreation area while living in Boise, a vibrant city with urban amenities and small-town charm.

Requirements

• Passion for Bogus Basin’s mission.
• Ability to perform janitorial tasks efficiently and accurately with or without supervision.
• Team-oriented mindset and strong communication skills.
• Physical ability to stand, balance, walk, reach, stoop, kneel, or crouch as required.
• Ability to lift, move, and/or support up to 35 lbs.
• Manual dexterity to perform cleaning and stocking duties.
• Ability to work the full season.
• Must be able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a neat and clean condition of all assigned areas, including trash removal, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and window cleaning.
• Clean and restock bathrooms, reporting any maintenance issues as needed.
• Organize and maintain cleanliness in lodge common areas.
• Promote safety by following safe practices and reporting unsafe conditions.
• Assist guests with questions or concerns, or direct them to shift leads/managers.
• Perform other related tasks as necessary.
