About The Position

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Food & Beverage to lead and oversee all aspects of our restaurant, banquet, and kitchen operations. As a key member of the hotel’s executive leadership team, you will be responsible for driving excellence in guest experience, team performance, and financial results. You will bring creativity, leadership, and a passion for hospitality to ensure our food and beverage offerings exceed expectations and align with Hilton standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of senior F&B management experience in a hotel environment.
  • Proven track record in team leadership, guest satisfaction, and financial performance.
  • Strong knowledge of Micros POS, inventory control, and hotel systems (Hilton OnQ preferred).
  • Smart Serve certification required.
  • Creative, organized, and passionate about food, service, and people.

Nice To Haves

  • University degree or college diploma in Hospitality or related field is an asset.
  • Bilingual (English/French) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute short- and long-term financial and operational plans aligned with hotel objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Committee to shape high-level strategies and policies.
  • Lead the implementation of Hilton programs, tools, and brand standards.
  • Regularly review and adjust strategies to meet evolving business needs.
  • Direct all F&B outlets including restaurant, banquet, and kitchen operations.
  • Ensure compliance with Hilton brand standards, health and safety regulations, and SOPs.
  • Oversee menu development, food presentation, and quality control.
  • Monitor and manage cost controls, inventory, and Micros POS systems.
  • Ensure superior cleanliness, service, and guest satisfaction across all outlets.
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate department heads and team members.
  • Foster a culture of empowerment, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Lead performance management, coaching, and succession planning.
  • Promote interdepartmental collaboration and communication.
  • Champion Hilton’s “Make It Right” service culture.
  • Address guest concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Develop local community relationships and represent the hotel in civic and industry events.
  • Leverage social media and marketing initiatives to enhance visibility and engagement.
  • Create and manage annual budgets for all F&B departments.
  • Analyze financial reports and KPIs to drive revenue and profitability.
  • Implement innovative promotions and revenue-generating programs.
  • Ensure departments operate within approved budgets and forecast targets.
