About The Position

Our Food and Beverage Back of House teams are looking to provide the best experience to all of our guests and co-workers in our many venues and restaurants. The team provides enthusiastic customer service, resolves issues in a courteous manner, and contributes to the Calgary Stampede’s world-renowned western hospitality. We provide exceptional service to our guests, clients, and internal teams. These positions are Stampede-time roles, for the Calgary Stampede celebration in July 2026.

Requirements

• Be 18 years of age or older by June 2026
• Be legally entitled to work for any employer in Canada
• Have a Social Insurance Number
• Have a bank account in their own name
• Must successfully participate in a criminal background check
• Be available to work for all 10 days of the Calgary Stampede
• Complete and comply with all required training and policies
• Some roles may require a valid ProServe certification
• Some roles may require previous work experience in the role
• Previous supervisory experience is required for Stock Supervisor
• Previous supervisory experience is required for Station Supervisor
• Previous administrative experience is required for Administrative Assistant

Responsibilities

• Providing exceptional customer service to all guests and co-workers in a prompt and friendly manner
• Monitoring stock levels in assigned area and re-stocking as required
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area
• Providing administrative and payroll support and reconciliation (Administrative Roles)
• Food preparation such as washing, cutting, chopping, weighing of food items for venue or concession
• Operating a specific food station at assigned venue/concession including a grill or fryer
• Cleaning and sanitizing dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment
• Performing warehouse duties
• Adhering to all safety, environmental and regulatory programs and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment
