Evermore Orlando Resort is an expansive and technically complex property with multiple operational components, including resort-owned vacation rental homes, large-scale water features, and extensive recreational infrastructure. The eight-acre Evermore Bay lagoon requires continuous monitoring of its advanced water treatment, circulation, and safety systems. Two championship golf courses, numerous pools, water sports facilities, and a wide range of amenities such as pickleball courts, event spaces, and dining venues further enhance the offerings. This diverse environment necessitates sophisticated engineering oversight to ensure optimal performance, safety, and reliability across all systems. Requirements

  • Two years of hospitality and food handling, customer service focus
  • Food, alcohol, and safety certifications under Florida requirements
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interact with a wide range of people
  • Outstanding organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Capable of performing the role in a busy work environment
  • Proficient in reading safety procedures and operating guidelines
  • Valid Florida Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record
  • Proficient in standard industry computer systems (POS, work order systems, inventory, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to Forbes standards, anticipate and address guests service needs, and thank guests with genuine appreciation
  • Expedite guest orders from assigned location(s)
  • Ensure exceptional guest service and order accuracy
  • Engage in a positive guest focused environment with a “can do” attitude
  • Engage in team work to ensure effective operations
  • Ensure food and beverage products are presentable and consistent; Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards, following all food safety guidelines
  • Speak with others using clear and professional language, avoiding slang and jargon
  • Uphold uniform and appearance guidelines by maintaining a clean and professional presence
  • Engage in welcoming body language
  • Set up, stock, and maintain clean work areas
  • Ensure consistent cleanliness of guest facing areas as well as service stations
  • Complete opening and closing duties, including setting up stations with necessary supplies and tools, cleaning all equipment and areas, locking doors, etc.
  • Visually inspect kitchen tools, equipment, or machines
  • Obtain the ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire shift
  • Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures
  • Complete safety training and certifications
