About The Position

Food & Beverage Attendants (Servers) are responsible for handling reservations, greeting customers, taking orders, bringing dishes, cleaning tables, and handling payment transactions. This role ensures that SOP Basic standards are adhered to in order to achieve the level of service established in the Departmental Operations Manual. The attendant will take a hands-on approach in the operation of the outlet(s), attend daily briefings on preparation, service, and menu, and be knowledgeable of the food and beverage items in the restaurant. They will master and perform the service sequence standards for both buffet and a la carte service styles, serving food and beverage to guests according to prescribed service standards and procedures with emphasis on speed and accuracy. The role contributes to overall guest experience metrics through the delivery of the Crowne Plaza Brand Standards and service behaviors, liaises with supporting departments on daily operations and quality, and establishes rapport with guests maintaining good relationships. The attendant will carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned, have a complete understanding of and adhere to the Hotel’s Policy relating to Fire, Hygiene, Health and Safety, attend all required training sessions/programs, and ensure cleaning and maintenance of equipment, tools, fixtures, and service area in the station assigned. Additionally, they are responsible for cost saving on guest supplies, food supplies, electricity, water, etc.

Requirements

  • Must be able to work on Guam, USA without restrictions (US Citizens, US Permanent Residents, Residents of Federated States of Micronesia (FSM)).
  • High School Diploma is required.
  • Two (2) years of experience in cash-handling and Food & Beverage role.
  • Fluent in English (speaking, listening, reading and writing).
  • Communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with guests and employees.
  • Must be able to obtain a government-issued Food Handler’s Certification.
  • Must be able to work nights, weekends, holidays, and during inclement weather.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships internally and externally.
  • Must have Health Certificate and ABC Card.
