About The Position

This position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while supporting the operation of the Food and Beverage Department. The ideal candidate is friendly, outgoing, and enjoys working in a fun environment with people. This role involves operating a POS system for food and drinks, preparing food and beverage items, maintaining the food court seating area, washing dishes, conducting opening and closing procedures, managing inventory, and ensuring proper temperature control for refrigerators and freezers. The associate will also be responsible for maintaining inventory of plates, cups, and utensils, conducting restroom checks and cleaning, and responding politely to customer requests. Additionally, the role may involve operating the POS system for collecting payments and allocating bowling lanes, lending out facility and equipment, and issuing cards and credits for the arcade. Other duties may be assigned by Store Management. Non-essential duties include alcohol and age restriction control, lost and found procedures, seeking process improvements, maintaining confidentiality, and ensuring a clean and safe working area.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
Must be 21+ to handle alcohol
A minimum of one to two years of experience in a hospitality or retail environment

Nice To Haves

Bartending experience preferred
Open availability, especially night shift and weekends is preferred
Experience in a bowling establishment is preferred

Responsibilities

Operates POS register for food and drinks (includes bar register when directed).
Prepares food and beverage items utilizing the policies and standards of the company.
Resets and bus the food court seating area.
Washes and dries dishes, glasses, and other cooking/food prep utensils.
Conducts all opening and closing procedures (Opens and closes cash tills, kitchen cleaning, etc.).
Manages food and beverage inventory by the store’s policies and procedures.
Maintains proper temperature for refrigerators and freezers.
Manages plates, cups, and other utensil inventory by the store policies and procedures.
Conducts restroom checks and cleaning including laundry of rags.
Responds responsively, and politely with a friendly demeanor to customers’ requests.
Occasionally Operates POS system to collect payments and allocate bowling lanes.
Occasionally Operates POS system to collect payments and lends out facility and equipment (Karaoke, billiards, darts, ping pong).
Occasionally operates POS system to collect payments and issues cards and credits for arcade (AM).
Conducts alcohol and age restriction control by company policies.
Conducts lost and found procedures according to company policies.
Seeks constant improvement or more efficient and less expensive ways and means in department work processes.
Compiles and maintains confidentiality of all company policies and procedures.
Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working area.
