About The Position

Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale is seeking an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to support the daily operations of our restaurant and pool outlets while ensuring exceptional service, outstanding food quality, and a memorable guest experience. The Assistant Food & Beverage Manager will lead, develop, and inspire a team of professionals, oversee operational and financial performance, maintain service and safety standards, and build strong relationships with guests and resort partners. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Previous experience managing restaurants within a luxury or five-star hotel environment.
  • Creative and entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation.
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with team members, guests, and leadership.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Valid work authorization for the United States is required; visa sponsorship assistance may be available for qualified candidates.
  • Strong attention to detail, creativity, and a refined sense of style.
  • Passionate Food & Beverage professional with a strong understanding of current industry trends.
  • Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee food service activities in the restaurant and pool areas to ensure division standards are consistently met.
  • Manage financial performance to meet budget guidelines while maintaining high-quality service standards for both internal and external guests.
  • Ensure all Health & Safety requirements are maintained in accordance with Division standards.
  • Regularly meet with culinary, dining room, and bar teams to share information and coordinate special events.
  • Ensure team members have a thorough understanding of F&B menus and wine offerings; onboard and train new employees on standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Conduct daily inspections of facilities and equipment, ensuring any issues are promptly reported to and followed up with Engineering.
  • Forecast business levels, prepare schedules, submit weekly payroll information, and anticipate future staffing needs.
  • Partner with Human Resources on recruiting, training, performance management, and employee relations.
  • Estimate food and beverage needs and order supplies, products, and equipment in accordance with par levels.
  • Receive and inspect deliveries to ensure quality and specification standards are met.
  • Inspect dining, receiving, preparation, production, and storage areas to ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
  • Supervise and support team members, ensuring service standards, operating procedures, conduct, and grooming expectations are consistently followed.
  • Maintain awareness of local competitors and industry trends.
  • Inspect and prepare outlets daily to ensure they are fully staffed, properly supplied, and ready for service while meeting all company standards.
  • Ensure work areas and storerooms remain clean and organized.
  • Partner with Reservations and Sales teams to ensure restaurant commitments and guest needs are properly communicated and executed.
  • Review sales, labor, and cost information; monitor budgets to support efficient operations and maintain expenses within established guidelines.
  • Maintain a visible presence within the outlet and follow up on guest requests, concerns, and feedback.
  • Ensure all restaurant and hotel policies are followed while promoting accountability across the team.
  • Ensure employees have the tools and resources needed to perform their roles successfully and follow up on requests in a timely manner.
  • Attend weekly operational meetings and communicate key updates to support alignment with the hotel's strategic goals.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with departments throughout the resort.
