About The Position
The College of Natural Sciences at Grand Canyon University (GCU) is seeking passionate and engaging adjunct faculty to teach part-time, face-to-face instruction at our Phoenix campus. This role involves facilitating classroom lectures and discussions, engaging students in learning course objectives, assessing student performance, and mentoring student success. Adjunct faculty are expected to provide a positive example by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission. GCU is a Christ-centered higher education institution that integrates faith, learning, and work, valuing diversity among its students, faculty, and staff.
Requirements
- Master's in any field with 18 graduate credit hours in Nutritional Science/Dietetics, Biological Science or Exercise Science with emphasis/certifications in nutrition/dietetics.
- Attach unofficial transcript reflecting degree earned with 18 graduate credit hours in the areas listed above
- Attach unofficial transcripts for any applicable conferred graduate degrees
Nice To Haves
- Doctorate or Master’s in Nutritional Science/Dietetics, Biological Science or Exercise Science with emphasis/certifications in nutrition/dietetics.
Responsibilities
