About The Position
The College of Natural Sciences at Grand Canyon University (GCU) is seeking passionate and engaging adjunct faculty to teach part-time, face-to-face instruction in Physical Chemistry II Lab at our Phoenix campus for the Fall 2026 Semester. This laboratory course is designed to complement and support the principles taught in CHM-444, covering topics such as quantum chemistry, molecular structure and spectra, molecular reaction dynamics, and statistical mechanics. Requirements
- Master's in any field with 18 graduate credit hours in Chemistry emphasizing Physical Chemistry
- Attach unofficial transcript reflecting degree earned with 18 graduate credit hours in the areas listed above
- Attach unofficial transcripts for any applicable conferred graduate degrees
Nice To Haves
- Master’s or Doctorate in Chemistry with emphasis in Physical Chemistry
Responsibilities
- Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
